Why is it important to be ICF accredited?

Both courses are ICF accredited: they are also AC and EMCC accredited so you have peace of mind you've got a meaningful, credible qualification.

Holding an ICF Credential is extremely important to today's coaching clients.

The 2022 Global Consumer Awareness Study conducted by PriceWaterhouseCoopers

found that;

"85% of coaching clients say it's important or very important that their coach holds certification or credential."

This demand extends into the corporate sector. You’ll find big clients in the public sector, FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 work with coaches. These organisations typically only consider working with coaches with an accreditation, with the preference being the ICF, as it is the leading global organisation for coaches and coaching. Equally, SMEs and start up founders look for accreditation as a signal of credibility.

How much is the time commitment?

For the professional diploma: you have 4 hours a week  in class and we recommend you do a minimum to do 1-2 hours of coaching each week plus 1 hour of personal development / reflection / reading.

For the associate diploma : you have 3 hours a week in class and we recommend 1-2 hours of coaching each week plus 1 hour of personal development / reflection / reading.

If you can block out 2-3 hours a week it would be great : if you can block out more that would be even better. Remember you might be able to count coaching hours in your role or business.

If you have to miss a week don't worry : this is an adult learning environment so you're in control of when you learn outside class : if life gets in the way and you need more support let us know and we'll be there to help.

What are the other people like?

We attract a wide range of people from business owners who want to add coaching to the mix of what they are doing, existing coaches who want a professional qualification, leaders who want to add coaching skills into their role and those who are looking to retrain.

People have varied backgrounds including; education, entrepreneurship, HR, social work, accountancy, professional services, PR and marketing, academia, law, journalism, project management and engineering.

You don't need any formal academic qualifications, only the ability to learn and to take on feedback: our course is practical so we support you to develop your skills.

What if I don't know anyone who wants to be coached?

This is okay, you have a coaching buddy in the program and we have links with organisations for pro bono coaching. You are also able to tap into Ruth's network at certain points to get pro bono clients AND we help you with how to get paid clients too.

We will always support you to get the client hours in.

How will you help me with my business?

Ruth Kudzi (CEO & Founder) is one of the most highly regarded business coaches in the UK and has worked with 1000s of people to help them get their first client or to build and scale. You get access to her expertise as well as the other experienced trainers who share and support you.

You have access to an online business course, group mentoring every month and marketing Q&A every month as well as online business days to help you implement and take action.

How will it help me stand out?

The course is taught to an incredibly high standard which means that your diploma helps you to stand out in a crowded and unregulated market and can be used to get accreditation with the ICF, EMCC and AC.

As our curriculum is unique it gives you an edge over other training providers who focus mainly on GROW or other models: you have evidence-based approaches which give you further credibility.
